If you own a cat then you know that nothing is off-limits, especially food.
While most cats will meow or pester their humans for treats, one mischievous cat named Nellie figured out how to open a Tupperware container and helped herself to cookies.
Allison Riebel, a veterinary student, baked cookies to share with her fellow volunteers at the Wildlife Medical Clinic. Knowing that her beloved cat loves food, Allison placed the cookies in a sealed container and headed upstairs to study.

However, the sealed container was no challenge for Nellie. “Nellie somehow opened the container and took all the cookies out and onto the floor,” Allison told us. “The funny thing is I know she took them all out separately because if she had just knocked them out of the container, the cookies would have broken. But they were spread out across our dining room floor with little bites out of each. So she took them all out separately and chopped them all separately and did it quietly enough to not get noticed.”
Nellie felt no remorse for her actions and actually seemed proud of herself. Allison posted photos of the cookies with one bite out of each and a photo of Nellie smiling. She wrote, “Guys my cat took a little chomp out of every single one of my cookies. Shame her. Picture of the culprit for tax. She’s not even sorry.”

Hundreds of fellow cat lovers could not resist commenting on the post. One said, “That is a face that regrets nothing.” Another wrote, “Bahahhahaha. I couldn’t just eat one whole cookie. I had to eat a bite from all of them. Typical cat.”
Many said that Nellie was simply testing the cookies for “poison” and doing her mom a favor. One person couldn’t believe that the innocent looking feline could do such a thing. But Allison replied by saying, ” you have no idea the shenanigans this tiny creature manages to get herself into🤣”.
There is never a dull moment when you share your home with cats.
